Livestream Viewing: “For Such a Time as This: A Prophetic Response to America’s Defining Moment,” Interfaith Service and Moral Mass Meeting, Mon Jan 20, 7pm, CUUC Fireside Area, with Rev. Danielle

.. For Such a Time as This Interfaith Service

On Monday, January 20th, we are called to hold both the celebration of the legacy and prophetic work of Martin Luther King Jr, and the Presidential Inauguration Day. My heart will be looking for hope, connection, and to see the possibilities that remain as our work continues.

I am grateful for the leadership of our UUA President Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, who will be joining interfaith leaders, including those from the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival and the United Church of Christ, at a special service and conversation, “For Such a Time as This: A Prophetic Response to America’s Defining Moment.”

The goal for this conversation is to “unite faith leaders, community advocates, and people of goodwill, committed to amplifying justice, equity, and love in the face of divisive and regressive forces. Inspired by Dr. King’s legacy and prophetic vision, this event is a declaration of hope and a moral response to an immoral vision for America.”

I would love to gather by our fire and watch it together. If you are unable to join, you can find more information and the link to stream the event here: https://breachrepairers.org/get-involved/events/a-pilgrimage-to-memphis-moral-mass-meeting-press-conference.
