MUSIC: Sun Jan 12

To carry on with the task of creating music even when one’s ability to hear it is waning seems to embody the essence of “purpose.” With that in mind, I have chosen the music of Ludwig van Beethoven for this Sunday’s Gathering Music, specifically a work composed at the turn of the 19th century, the very time when the composer was starting to acknowledge his growing hearing loss.
