Music at CUUC presents “Favorites of the Season, Old and New,” Sun Dec 8, 12:30pm, Sanctuary and Livestream
Usher in the holiday season with a concert of beautiful music. CUUC music director Adam Kent joins with special guests to perform a Felix Mendelssohn piano trio. The CUUC choir, under the steady guidance of Lisa N. Meyer and accompanied by Georgianna Pappas, offers select choruses from Handel’s Messiah, plus classic holiday tunes. Suggested donation: $20 Adults; $10 Seniors/Students; $5 Children Under 13; $45 per Family. Use

Long noted for his expertise in the music of the Spanish speaking world, CUUC Music Director Adam Kent offers a centennial tribute to the great Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha. Program includes works by composers such as Falla, Albeniz, and Granados, in addition to music dedicated to or composed by Alicia.
